چکیده

Among the many biological entities employed in development of biosensors, enzymes have attracted most attention. Nanotechnology has been fostering excellent prospects enzymatic since enzyme immobilization onto conductive nanostructures can improve characteristics that are crucial biosensor transduction, such as surface-to-volume ratio, signal response, selectivity, sensitivity, conductivity, and biocatalytic activity, among others. These other advantages nanomaterial-based biosensors discussed this work via compilation several reports on their applications different industrial segments. To provide detailed insights into state art technology, all relevant concepts around topic discussed, including properties enzymes, mechanisms involved immobilization, application enzyme-derived nanomaterials. Finally, there is a discussion pressing challenges which will be useful for guiding future research area.
